Linda kicked off her bookkeeping journey in the mid-90s within the Law Industry where she gained extensive experience in legal accounting.

Moving into Chartered Accounting territory in 2007, she gained valuable insight into SMBs and their bookkeeping needs. This is where her dream became a reality and SYM was born in 2009.

Linda is a registered BAS Agent, certified in Xero, Quickbooks and MYOB and holds an Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Advanced Diploma in Leadership & Management. When she’s not in the office, she’s attempting to run anything but a half marathon, enjoys a vino or two, or at the helm of a group of young surf club nippers, guiding them through the summer and educating them on surf lifesaving skills.

Emma is a Shire local with a strong background in administration and a passion for numbers. After earning her Certificate IV in Bookkeeping & Accounting, she joined the Dream Team in 2021 and quickly became an invaluable asset as a Xero-certified advisor.

With over 7 years of experience in accounting firms and bookkeeping, plus a wealth of knowledge from various administrative roles, Emma brings precision, efficiency, and care to every client’s books.

When she’s not streamlining finances, you’ll find Emma exploring the bush or relaxing at the beach with her surveyor husband and their two energetic boys.

Known around the office as The Maverick, Maddi is the go-to problem solver, advice giver, and occasional supplier of a questionable joke. She thrives on keeping the office running smoothly and adding a little humor and light to each day.

Outside of work, Maddi’s world revolves around her two (very close-in-age!) toddlers, squeezing in a run when she can, and indulging in her guilty pleasure of Real Housewives where possible. Growing up as the middle child of five, her Sundays were split between Nippers and horse riding, so multitasking comes naturally.

Maddi loves the dynamic nature of her role and the camaraderie of working alongside Linda and the team. With plenty of laughs and memorable moments, there’s never a dull day in the office.

With over 15 years of experience as a PA and Executive Assistant in the city, Jade brought her expertise to SYM in 2021 as a bookkeeper and Xero-certified advisor.

A proud Sutherland Shire local and sports enthusiast, Jade loves staying active. When she’s not hard at work, you’ll find her soaking up the sun at the beach, spending quality time with her family, or enjoying the company of her favorite four-legged friend, Molly.

Jovs is a Virtual Assistant with a strong accounting background, holding diplomas in Accountancy and Business Administration, major in Management Accounting. Before joining SYM, she spent nearly two years as an Auditor, gaining valuable experience in financial accuracy and compliance. She’s also a Xero Advisor Certified.

Outside of work, Jovs loves family time, singing, exploring nature, and embracing her favourite role—being an aunt.

At SYM, she thrives on learning new skills and contributing to a collaborative, high-energy team. Her favourite part? The supportive culture and the fun of working alongside Linda and the Dream Team.

Shire girl, Christine, studied Commerce at Sydney University and is a qualified Chartered Accountant. Prior to joining the SYM Dream Team in February 2024, she had been working in tax and accounting services for chartered firms for an impressive 20 years! 

When she’s not at work being super productive (or playing taxi driver for her 3 kids), you will find her enjoying time in the Great Outdoors with her family or working out at the gym.

Monique brings decades of experience to her role as Team Leader at SYM. With an Advanced Diploma in Accounting, Xero certification and BAS Agent credentials, she works closely with clients to keep their financial records accurate, current and compliant with ATO requirements.

Her career began at Advance Bank in the late 80s, where she progressed to Assistant Manager of Treasury before moving into accounting and management. After her daughter was born, she launched her own bookkeeping business and later stepped in as General Manager for a client, supporting his early retirement with confidence.

Monique thrives on problem solving, refining processes and delivering results clients value. Outside work, she enjoys yoga, bushwalking, time by the ocean and exploring new restaurants with family and friends.

With a Certificate IV in Bookkeeping and Accounting, Bec brings 18 years of experience working in tax accounting firms and bookkeeping. She is Xero and QuickBooks certified, making her a trusted expert in managing complex client needs.

Bec thrives in a collaborative team environment, enjoying the process of working together to achieve outstanding results for clients. Outside of work, Bec enjoys quality time with her two spirited daughters and, when the chance arises, you’ll find her enjoying a cocktail or two with friends.

Katrina brings a lifetime of experience in hospitality management to her new passion—bookkeeping. Currently studying part-time to deepen her expertise, she loves the challenge of learning something new and wouldn’t trade it for the world.

Since joining SYM, Katrina has found her favourite role yet. She thrives on the team’s energy, the laughs, and the collaborative spirit that make every day rewarding.

Outside of work, Katrina is all about food—whether discovering new restaurants or cooking for family and friends. She’s also a proud dog mum to Monty the Kelpie, a music lover, and a competitive soccer player (her team recently took out both the minor premiership and the grand final!).

Family is her biggest joy, especially cheering on her twin boys—one a national-level swimmer with Olympic dreams, the other a talented soccer representative.

Rachel is one of the newest members of the SYM team, bringing fresh energy and enthusiasm to her role. After 12 years in the fitness industry, she’s excited to challenge herself in a new way and loves the mental workout that bookkeeping provides.

Outside of work, Rachel is all about staying active—her day starts at 5am with a gym session, and she’s a passionate Sydney Swans fan who tries to get to as many AFL games as she can. She’s also a proud mum of three amazing kids: Em and twins Joab and Josh. Having all of them under one roof is a rare and special treat.

Rachel is already enjoying the collaborative and supportive culture at SYM and looks forward to contributing her skills and creating more great memories with the team.

Jacinta joined SYM in February 2023 and quickly became an integral part of the team. She’s passionate about problem-solving and loves showing that bookkeeping is far more than just numbers. A highlight of her time at SYM so far has been attending Xerocon 2025, which deepened her interest in leveraging accounting software to help clients succeed.

Outside of work, Jacinta’s vibrant personality shines through. She’s a proud Swiftie, travel enthusiast, book lover, and beach girl. Proudly half Balinese, she embraces her culture even from afar.

Her favorite part of SYM is the incredible team bonding—whether it’s Christmas celebrations, EOFY events, or weekly catch-ups, Jacinta values the camaraderie that makes SYM such a great place to work.

Carla joined the Dream Team in February 2023, bringing her incredible experience and positive energy to the SYM family. After more than 20 years in New Zealand’s construction industry, she made the leap into administration and bookkeeping in Australia—and hasn’t looked back!

Carla loves working with a team of women who know how to have fun while getting things done. Her approach combines professionalism with a great sense of humour, making her a valued part of the SYM culture.

Outside of work, Carla enjoys the simple pleasures—binge-watching TV in her PJs with a cuppa tea and chocolate, and spending quality time with her family. A proud Kiwi girl, she’s married with four children and loves creating a warm, happy home.

Wanita brings a diverse background in social work, hospitality, and recruitment, giving her a well-rounded perspective and a natural ability to connect with clients. She enjoys learning about different businesses and building new skills across a variety of industries.

She values the strong team culture at SYM and thrives in a supportive, hardworking, and collaborative environment. Outside of work, Wanita loves hiking and adventure travel, especially in the mountains. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends, cheering on her nephews, and cooking whenever she gets the chance.

Precious brings a strong foundation in business and accounting to the SYM team, backed by diplomas in Business Administration (specialising in Management Accounting) and Accountancy. Her journey into Australian bookkeeping began in 2020 as a virtual accounting assistant, and by 2023 she joined SYM Business as an offshore bookkeeping assistant.

Since then, Precious has become certified in Xero, QuickBooks, and MYOB, making her a versatile and trusted resource for clients. She loves the challenge of mastering new systems and delivering accurate, efficient results.

Outside of work, Precious is a proud fur mom to four dogs and one cheeky cat. She enjoys outdoor walks or runs—though she admits the snacks along the way are the real highlight!

Rizza applies her strong accounting foundation to her role as an offshore bookkeeping assistant, supported by diplomas in Accountancy and Business Administration. Prior to joining SYM, she spent nearly four years working in government, where she developed valuable experience in personnel administration and organizational support.

Outside of work, Rizza enjoys outdoor adventures and has conquered some of the highest mountains in Luzon and Palawan, finding balance and fulfillment in nature. At SYM, she enjoys learning new skills and appreciating the positive culture and opportunities for growth alongside like‑minded professionals.

Charmaine brings over 10 years of experience in administration and accounts, helping keep client finances organised, accurate, and running smoothly. She is known for her attention to detail and reliable approach. Outside of work, Charmaine enjoys exploring Australia with her husband and their three energetic boys.
