Linda kicked off her bookkeeping journey in the mid 90s within the Law Industry where she gained extensive experience in legal accounting.

Moving into Chartered Accounting territory in 2007, she gained valuable insight into SMBs and their bookkeeping needs. This is where her dream became a reality and SYM was born in 2009.

Linda is a registered BAS Agent, certified in Xero, Quickbooks and MYOB and holds an Advanced Diploma in Accounting. When she’s not in the office, she’s running half marathons, with vino in hand, or at the helm of a group of young surf club nippers, guiding them through the summer and educating them on surf life saving skills.

With a Cert IV in Bookkeeping, Xero certified and 14 years experience in tax accounting firms, Bec assassinates the numbers with ease.

She is Xero and Quickbooks certified.
When she’s not powering through her to-do list, she’s spending quality time with her hubby and energetic 4-year-old daughter. And when the opportunity arises, she enjoys a cocktail or two with friends.

Local Shire girl, Emma, had previously worked in administrative roles in a variety of small businesses before obtaining a Cert IV in Bookkeeping & Accounting.

She joined the Dream Team in 2021 as a dedicated bookkeeper and Xero certified advisor. When she’s not flashing through our clients’ books, you will find her in the bush or at the beach with her surveyor husband and two crazy boys.

Christy has recently shifted from the business of Paraplanning to the world of bookkeeping after completing a Cert IV in Bookkeeping & Accounting.

She became a SYM bookkeeper in 2021. Outside of her smooth operations in the office, this busy Shire mum of three is a keen traveller who loves to explore new places and experience different cultures. She adores the National Park and beaches on her doorstep and enjoys getting out on her SUP when she finds the time.

Jade worked as a PA/Executive Assistant in the city for over 15 years before joining SYM as a bookkeeper and Xero certified advisor. And so, The Dream Team gained our Meticulous Moderator in 2021!

Jade is a born and bred Sutherland Shire girl and a lover of all sports. When she’s not plugging away at work, you can find her at the beach or on bike rides with her hubby, daughter and son.

Maddi grew up on the South Coast and relocated to the Sutherland Shire in 2014 where she worked in the travel industry. She later moved into an Office Manager role in 2017 which is where her bookkeeping journey began.

Maddi joined the Dream Team as a dedicated and skilful bookkeeper towards the end of 2022. Now living in Cronulla with her young family, she spends her spare time by the water, camping, or running around, chasing after her toddler!

Leanne kicked off her bookkeeping career working in an accounting firm where she gained extensive experience & knowledge working with a variety of small to medium sized businesses. She obtained a Cert IV in Bookkeeping & Accounting.

Towards the end of 2022, Leanne joined the Dream Team as a highly skilled bookkeeper. She is certified in Xero and MYOB Advanced. When Leanne isn’t busy eliminating her bookkeeping tasks, you will find her in the kitchen cooking up a storm for her family or relaxing at the beach.

Originally from New Zealand, Carla’s career started off within the Construction Industry where she obtained a Diploma in Architecture and a Certificate in Project Management. When she and her family relocated to Australia 9 years ago, she transitioned into the realms of administration, office, and financial management where she was introduced to small business bookkeeping. She also acquired a Certificate in Small Business Management.

Carla has been a valued part of our bookkeeping Dream Team since early 2023. When she’s done conquering her workload in the SYM office, you will find her cheering on her rep player daughter at the netball courts, chilling at home in her pjs or making cakes!

Born and bred Shire girl, Jacinta obtained a Diploma in Travel and Tourism after finishing school, only to be forced to rethink her career path due to the COVID-19 pandemic. After some time working in hospitality and other fields, she joined the Dream Team in February 2023 as our much-loved intern and is currently studying bookkeeping. She has also completed her Xero certification.

In her free time, Jacinta loves travel, spending time with her Jug (Jack Russell Pug cross) and turtle, and dining on great food with her family and friends. She is also a huge motorsports fan!

Shire girl, Christine, studied Commerce at Sydney University and is a qualified Chartered Accountant. Prior to joining the SYM Dream Team in February 2024, she had been working in tax and accounting services for chartered firms for an impressive 20 years! 

When she’s not at work being super productive, (or playing taxi driver for her 3 kids), you will find her enjoying time in the Great Outdoors with her family, or working out at the gym.

Tiana grew up locally in the Shire. After leaving high school, she started her career in administration at a small finance company. She is currently studying, working towards completing her Cert IV in Bookkeeping & Accounting, while gaining some valuable skills as a Dream Team intern at SYM. 

Tiana is a certified Quickbooks Online ProAdvisor and is also Xero certified.

When she’s not hard at work in the SYM office, Tiana loves spending time in the sun with her mum and sisters!
